To the Norwegian Nobel Committee,
It is with great respect and sincerity that I submit this letter to recommend
Mr. Chen Sihong (陳斯紅) for your consideration for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Mr. Chen is not seeking fame, recognition, or personal reward.
His only intention is to share and promote the spirit of peace, kindness, and unity embodied in the historical Yi-Men Chen Clan (義門陳) — a cultural legacy known for its dedication to family harmony, social responsibility, and conflict resolution.
Through years of voluntary service, cultural promotion, and community engagement,
Mr. Chen has consistently demonstrated:
• Promotion of Peaceful Values
He actively spreads the philosophy of harmony, compassion, and mutual support rooted in the Yi-Men Chen tradition.
• Preservation of Cultural Heritage
He works tirelessly to keep this centuries-old peaceful family system known to younger generations and to international communities.
• Community Service Without Reward
All his contributions are voluntary. He does not seek recognition or material benefit.
His goal is solely to let the world see that peace begins with individuals, families, and communities.
At a time when the world faces division and conflict,
voices like Mr. Chen’s — humble, steady, and grounded in real cultural ethics — are deeply needed.
While Mr. Chen has expressed that he does not expect to win,
he believes that submitting this recommendation can help promote peaceful values globally,
and that alone is meaningful enough.
For these reasons, I am honored to put forth his name for your consideration.
